“I came into the light”

I walked out to the game field today to give a message to a counselor. Four young boys ran up to me and one tugged on my shirt saying, “Guess what?” I kneeled down to his level and said, “What?”

“I came into the light today,” he said with a big grin. “I accepted Jesus as my Savior for the first time. And then I hear the other three chime, “So did we.”

Wow! That’s why I’m here. Our theme is “Shine Your Light.” We want kids to learn Who the source of Light is and we want them to walk in His light. It was so cool to hear these kids “get it.” They understood and are now living in the light of the Son. Praise Jesus!
